West Lothian will be blooming with poppies in summer thanks to a campaign to mark 100 years since the end of WW1 and raise funds for Armed Forces community living in Scotland.
West Lothian Council is supporting the Scottish Ancre Somme Association's Ribbon of Poppies project. The programme aims to create a carpet of crimson from Land's End to John O'Groats to remember all those killed or wounded during the Great War.
The sale of these Remembrance Poppy Seeds will help the 1918 Poppy Pledge in aid of Poppyscotland. The 1918 Poppy Pledge aims to raise £500,000 to help support the Armed Forces community living in Scotland today.
Packs of poppy seeds can be purchased from libraries and Partnership Centres in West Lothian for £1.
All proceeds will be donated by the Ancre Somme Association to Poppy Scotland.
