West Lothian Council is inviting residents, community clubs and other stakeholders to attend an event at East Calder Partnership Centre on Tuesday 15 May from 7pm.
Plans for a new 3G synthetic pitch for East Calder Park will be on show, as well as a presentation on the proposed new sports facility by West Lothian Council officers with a question and answer session.
The synthetic pitch is anticipated to replace one of the 11-a-side grass pitches in the park. The proposals are part of wider improvements planned for the park, to accommodate an increase in the use of open space as East Calder grows.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "We would encourage anyone with an interest in the proposed new 3G pitch for East Calder Park to come along on Tuesday 15 May.
"East Calder's growing population means we need to look at what sports facilities we have in the village, to meet increased demand in the future.
"The views of local residents and groups will play a significant role in helping us agree the best way forward."
