West Lothian Pride 2019

The fifth West Lothian Pride will take place on Saturday 27 July 2019 from 11:00am within the Pride Village at West Lothian College. Guest speakers Jo Clifford and Stefan Hogan will be live on stage from 12:45pm followed at 1:00pm by a special Pride parade through Livingston town centre.

This free fun filled community event aims to bring together the local and wider communities of West Lothian and beyond.

A fun-filled day is planned with information stalls, merchandise stalls and live entertainment available, compered by Mr Fabulous - AKA James Smith there will be live performances from Abba-A-Rival, X Factor contestant James Hughes, Loxie, Amy Hawthorn, the winners of the West Lothian Has Talent competition and many more as well as a drag show with the sensational Miss Tish Ewe.

Depute leader of West Lothian Council, Kirsteen Sullivan said: "West Lothian Council is committed to raising awareness of LGBT+ issues and creating an inclusive and safe environment for people living and working in our communities.

"West Lothian Pride is always a fantastic celebration of our LGBT community and an event that we are proud to support."

Last year, over 1300 people came to celebrate and support West Lothian's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.  Why don't you join us this year and help us deliver the biggest and best West Lothian Pride yet!

West Lothian Pride is organised by a dedicated team of volunteers and organisations from within and around West Lothian, with support from West Lothian Council, West Lothian's LGBT Group Glitter Cannons and West Lothian College, as well as many local businesses.
