All bins should be at the kerbside by 7am on their day of collection. With increasing volumes of recycling and waste over the Festive period and less collection days, please leave your bins out until they are emptied.
Local residents can check for updates on any disruption to collections at Bin Collection Daily Updates
Unfortunately, we are unable to return to empty bins that were not out for collection on the correct day.
West Lothian's five recycling centres will be open as normal during the Festive period, except for 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January when they will be closed. For more details, please visit Community Recycling Centres
Physical distancing measures are still in place at all our recycling centres, which limits the numbers of people who can use them at one time. This can lead to queues at the busier centres such as Oakbank in Livingston and Whitburn.
Bulky uplifts are suspended from Monday 21 December 2020 until Monday 11 January 2021 to prioritise household wheeled bin collections.
