The Centre will be closed for two weeks from Monday September 27. The site will close at 6pm on Sunday 26 September and reopen at 10am on Monday 11 October.
The closure is necessary to allow us to replace all the gantries which provide access to the larger skips, and carry out associated groundworks.
The four other Recycling Centres in West Lothian will remain open and are available to all West Lothian residents to dispose of their household waste. They are open 7 days a week, 10am - 6pm, with last entry at 5:45pm.
Jim Jack, the council's Head of Operational Services said: "This is part of a planned programme of improvements at our Recycling Centres and whilst we appreciate it will inconvenient for some customers, the works are necessary to improve the site and to allow us to carry out the work safely and quickly. Residents of West Lothian are able to use any of our Recycling Centres, or customers can book a bulky uplift if that is more convenient."
