West Lothian Council is progressing with plans to ensure free school meals will be provided to all primary pupils in the future.

The New Town of Livingston will turn 60 years old in April 2022

The council received a request to rename Broxburn Library, currently located within an area of Strathbrock Partnership Centre, in memory of Alex Davidson, a former councillor in the area. The Library space would be retitled the "Lex Davidson Library".

West Lothian Council has built a new 175 metre of floodlit track in Balbardie Park, Bathgate which is now ready to use.

West Lothian young people are being encouraged to develop their knowledge of social justice issues though a new reading challenge.

West Lothian Council will spend over £40 million over the coming financial year improving existing council housing and increasing the number of available council properties.
