Mr Neil Anderson was highly respected former teacher, Depute Head and Acting Headteacher at Dedridge Primary School.
Leader of West Lothian Council Lawrence Fitzpatrick said: "Mr Anderson was very well known and liked within the school community, and renaming the community wing is a lovely tribute to Mr Anderson and his family."
