Impact sports, such as football and basketball, are currently suspended as a precaution, after issues were identified with the brickwork in one of the walls.
A temporary barrier is in place to allow the rest of the hall to be safely used for other activities.
The council is continuing to work with our contractors to investigate the issues, and agree a programme of remedial work to bring the hall back to full use.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to users of the games hall at Armadale Partnership Centre.
"We have re-opened the hall for most users now, but impact sports such as football and basketball are still suspended to prevent further damage to the wall.
"We hope to have a repair programme agreed with contractors in the next few weeks, to complete the essential works required to bring the hall back to full use.
"The hall will need to be closed for a period to allow the work to be safely completed, with a further update provided when a timeline for the repairs is agreed."
