More and more colourful ribbons have appeared on the school fence in recent weeks, brightening up the playground area.
A number of parents have been in touch to explain that they are tying the ribbons to say thank you for the support that Balbardie staff have been offering families at this time.
Balbardie Head Teacher Margaret Johns said: "Huge thanks to everyone in the Balbardie school community who have tied these bright ribbons to the school fence.
"All the staff are missing the children very much, and have been very touched by the lovely gesture. It means a lot to them to see such a colourful display of support at this challenging time for everyone."
