Talking about his goals for Tokyo 2021, Nathan said: "My main objective for the year is to arrive for the games in the best physical and mental condition possible, to put me in position to score well and win that coveted Paralympic medal."
Councillor Cathy Muldoon, vice-chair of the Culture and Leisure Policy Development and Scrutiny Panel (PDSP) said: "I'm sure all of West Lothian will join me in cheering on Nathan when the archery contest begins on Friday 27 August.
"It's a fantastic achievement to represent Team GB at the Paralympic Games, and is down the hard work and dedication shown by Nathan in his chosen sport.
"We wish him every success at the games, and hope he can bring a coveted medal home to West Lothian."
