The school recently welcomed former Inveralmond pupil Anais Adams, a Qualified Solicitor with law firm Gillespie McAndrew, back recently.
Anais provided a group of pupils with informative in-depth presentation and Q&A session about application processes, graduate law programs and the day-to-day life within the legal profession, which was extremely well-received by the pupils.
The event was part of Inveralmond's commitment to the Developing the Young Workforce policy, where young people are able to link their learning to the world beyond school and to career pathways at all stages of the curriculum.
Inveralmond Headteacher Hamish Shankland said: "We are delighted to have so many links with industry that allow staff to collaborate with professionals working in the career pathways that our young people aspire to.
"The school has a long-standing relationship with many local and national companies and enterprises, which allows young people to be inspired and seek advice as the work towards their own career goals and aspirations.
"Huge thanks to our former pupil Anais for taking the time to come back to speak to our current pupils, and her employer Gillespie McAndrew for their support. Her excellent presentation has helped inspire some of our pupils who were already considering law as a career, to make it their goal for the future."
